The Vehicle Injured Shooter Course focus on fighting, not just around a vehicle, but in the vehicle as well; this course also focuses on how to maximize the pice of cover that’s in front of you especially if you already took a shot to the arm or hand. We always want to prevent any additional casualties.
•
It’s not just about shooting in & around a vehicle; it’s about setting yourself up for success so that you stand a better change of survival after I took a shot or stab then I need to incapacitate the attacker as soon as possible so that I can sort out any massive bleeding problems on myself or someone else, doesn’t help I can win the fight but I bleed out afterwards.
•
“This is not a shooting class, this is a problem solving class & we’re just adding a vehicle to the problem.”
Injured Shooter
Bravo Tactical Africa Movement Course.
•
Make up time with your body mechanics so that you have more time to take an accurate shot. So apply & compliment you body mechanics in such a way that you make up time with movement & spend time on your Marksmanship; move fast & shoot accurate.
•
“If you loose the element of surprise you need to make it up with speed & violence.” Speed is not the speed of your shooting; speed is Movement, it’s about driving the body so that you have more time to take an accurate shot. Violence is not just a shot in the direction of the target; it’s an accurate shot. So SPEED is your movement & VIOLENCE is the accurate shot.
•
Most of the time you will use your movement (lower body) to create space or to take up space; when you create space you generate a barrier between you & the attacker, it might be a physical barrier like cover or you can create space to use it as a barrier. Taking up space is most of the time to close the reactionary gap between yourself & the attacker to stop him physically.
•
We focus mainly on seeing more & seeing sooner when we start to move. It’s not about shooting fast; it’s all about seeing fast & thinking fast. When we start to see more sooner; our accuracy & speed tend to increase a lot because we start to process the unknown areas, our eyes will always lead the way & that will become our new known direction & our bodies tend to follow into that direction.
•
There’s two things that we need to pick up as soon as possible in a fight & that’s the location of the attacker and your closest point of cover.
•
If you think about it; movement in between two positions or locations are always more or less the same; but if we want to be efficient, accurate & fast then we have to focus on entering a position & breaking an accurate shot as soon as possible & exiting a position as soon as you break the last shot to get to a better position or maybe get in behind cover.
