Two JHb security company owners killed in armed robbery in Ormonde, Johannesburg…. - Shaheed Abdul Hamid Moosa (Hamza) & Hafidh Yusuf Modan were shot & killed during a brazen armed robbery. According to reports, their security company was transporting a very large sum of cash for a client, thus the two owners of the security company personally undertook the task. The pair were traveling with a number of armed guards in a bulletproof white Toyota Fortunar vehicle escorted by a white armoured Ford bakkie yesterday afternoon (Thursday, April, 9) when they were attacked by armed thugs. The thugs who were armed with high calibre firearms, were travelling in three vehicles, a Porche, BMW & a Merc, when they confronted the security envoy on Crownwood Road in Ormonde. A witness told the Laudium Sun that a high-speed chase started about 10 minutes before, from the M1 highway, with the thugs trying to block the security Fortunar vehicle where the cash was apparently kept, resulting in both sides engaging in fierce shooting at each other. The two security businessmen were killed, while one of their guards was seriously injured. One of the thugs was also killed and another was injured.
